Each order will be for : SIX brand new plastic paper plate holders. These are the 10 1/2″ diameter plastic paper plate holders…you don’t want anything smaller! These plate holders will take a 8 7/8″ or 9″ paper plate and secure them under the three tabs. I also sell the hard black plastic paper plate holders, but they do not have any method of holding the paper plate down. So if there is any breeze outside, obviously, there will be a problem. The one thing to keep in mind when purchasing these plastic paper plate holders is that you can clean them. Unlike the natural fiber types, these will rinse right off. SIX total, TWO of each color as shown in the picture How does the paper plate get secured to the plate holder? This STYLE uses three tabs. You bend the paper plate to fit under the tab. Once the paper plate is under the tab, the paper plate will fit normally and be secured by the tabs. Are these plate holders dishwasher safe? These are top rack dishwasher safe. That means as long as they are not close to a heating element, they will be ok. I always put the plastic items including Tupperware in the middle of the rack to keep them safe. Due to the various materials of the cups, plates, pots and pans, the temperature needed to dry the items needs to be high. That is why almost all plastics such as Glad reusable, Tupperware, and these plate holders need to be away from the heating element that is used for heating your dishes. Are these plate holders microwaveable safe? As far as microwaveable safe: I tell everyone that they should test the plastic plate holders for set amount of time in their microwave starting with a low time of 20-30 seconds first. The reason for that is that there are too many variables and power outputs of the microwaves. Think of some of your Tupperware or glass and even ceramics how they become warm or even hot to the touch. How sturdy are these plate holders? These plate holders are NOT like fine china. They are meant to add strength to your paper plates. I have more rigid black plastic basket weave style of paper plate holders and colored three tab holders made here in the USA.
