Tendercrisp Celery (Apium graveolens var. dulce ) is a tall, vigorous green celery variety developed in the United States from improved Utah-type strains, prized for its smooth, nearly stringless stalks and crisp, juicy texture.
Best known for its crisp and sweet taste, Beit Alpha’s skin requires no peeling as it’s very tender. You’ll want to harvest them young at around 6″. This hybrid variety will produce high yields that have a great shelf life.
